Your compassion can make a difference—help save lives in Gaza before it’s too late
Since October 2023, Hathi Hayti has been working hard to deliver as much aid as possible in Gaza. During Ramadan, your donations helped us provide daily suhoor and iftar meals to 1,000 people in Palestine.
During Dhul Hijjah your generous donations helped us achieve the same.
In the past few months, your compassionate support has helped make a significant difference in the lives of those most affected. But our work is far from over.
As the days pass by, Hathi Hayti remains committed to our mission of alleviating suffering and restoring hope in the lives of our Palestinian brothers, sisters, and children.
12 MONTHS and 75 Years of Inhumane Oppression
Be honest—if you could switch places with someone in Gaza right now, would you?
The people of Gaza are enduring the harshest side of “humanity.” Their lives have been stripped of all normalcy, all sense of peace.
All around them is destruction, bloodshed, and hunger. Can you imagine living like that?
A life where your children cry for food, and the only thing you can offer is boiled grass.
A life where the constant fear of being bombed haunts you, knowing that no matter how hard you try, you can never fully shield your family from the terror and trauma of war.
A life where basic necessities like food and water are luxuries you can’t access.
A life where tomorrow is never guaranteed for you or your loved ones.
A life filled with nothing but sadness, frustration, anger, and endless tears.
This is the reality in Gaza today—what they’re facing isn’t temporary. The scars run deeper than what the world can see.
Since October 7, over 41,000 Palestinians have been martyred, and more than 92,000 have been wounded. Yet the world stands by, unwilling to stop the oppressors and end this suffering once and for all.
Gaza is Facing The World’s WORST Hunger Crisis—MORE THAN 2.1 MILLION LIVES ARE AT STAKE!
➡️ 2.15 million people in the Gaza Strip are facing high levels of acute food insecurity
➡️ 96% of the population is suffering from catastrophic hunger
➡️ Around 9 out of 10 children lack food for growth, survival, and essential development
At a recent UN press conference, FAO Chief Economist Máximo Torero declared that Gaza’s children are now enduring the worst hunger crisis in history.
Tragically, the situation grows more desperate with each passing day. Starvation has become so severe that people have resorted to eating animal fodder just to survive.
Which means …
The people of Gaza don’t stand any chance against the hunger brought about by these dire circumstances.
WHAT CAN WE DO?
Allah’s Messenger (ď·ş) said, “Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one.”
Today, our brothers and sisters of Palestine are oppressed beyond comprehension—and as members of the Ummah it is our responsibility to lend a helping hand in whatever capacity we can.
While we may not be able to directly step in and put an end to this oppression,
We can still HELP.
The Prophet SAW said, “Give food to the hungry, pay a visit to the sick and release (set free) the one in captivity (by paying his ransom).”
Right now, 96% of the population in Gaza is being starved by their oppressors. But we can step in and provide crucial support to these innocent individuals by ensuring they get the necessary nutrition they need.
And in doing so, not only will we have saved their lives, but also, relieved them of distress, a deed for which Allah SWT has made an extraordinary promise to mankind.
According to Hadith,
“A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection.”
Isn’t that a reward worth going above and beyond for?
Every Day Brings New Horrors To Their Lives
In Islam, fasting is not mandatory for children who have not reached the age of puberty, people who are not of sound mind, and ones who are sick.
That’s because those belonging to these demographics can not tolerate hunger the way we do.
But in Gaza, they are not spared from this painful reality — hunger is being enforced upon EVERYONE without discrimination.
On top of that, as new horrors unfold for them every day, these people – especially children – are exposed to heavy and severely damaging psychological trauma.
Soon, if none of us step in to help, these damages will become permanent, and they will be forced to deal with the lasting effects of hunger as they grow old—if they survive!
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) established the believers in their mutual mercy, love, and compassion like a single body.
And he said, “None of you will believe until you love for your brother what you love for yourself.”
So, if we cannot tolerate our own children going hungry even for a day, how can we let the children of Palestine go hungry for weeks on end?
Join The Movement; Support The Cause
Since the last 12 months, Hathi Hayati has been working day and night to alleviate the struggles of the most vulnerable of people in Palestine.
We see, hear, and understand their pain. And we aim to aid them in whatever way we can.
Therefore, Hathi Hayati has set up a kitchen in Khan Younis and Rafah.
In partnership with Seeds Humanity, we deliver over 1000+ hot meals every day in both these cities from our kitchens.
Our teams are on the ground, preparing and distributing hot and nutritious meals to those in dire need. All with the sole goal to provide a promise of hope and a better tomorrow — one plate at a time.
Hathi Hayati’s operations in Palestine began in 2023 amidst the crisis. We aim to continue to navigate any and every challenge in our way to deliver whatever aid is needed the most by our brothers and sisters in Gaza.
How Can You Help Amidst Crisis?
Without food and water, no living being can survive. And that’s why, the oppressors’ core tactic has been to cut off food and water supplies from the population.
BUT.
If we join hands, and every single person reading this donates even as little as $5 today, we can spoil the evil efforts of the oppressors by ensuring that the survivors in Gaza no longer have to sleep with empty stomachs.
Every day, by helping provide only two meals per day for $5, you can help sustain families in Khan Younis and Rafah.
By supporting our cause today, you empower Hathi Hayati to carry out their mission without pause—and expand further.
The Messenger of Allah (ď·ş) said:
“Allah (mighty and sublime be He) will say on the Day of Resurrection: […]
O son of Adam, I asked you for food and you fed Me not. He will say: O Lord, and how should I feed You when You are the Lord of the worlds?
He will say: Did you not know that My servant So-and-so asked you for food and you fed him not? Did you not know that had you fed him you would surely have found that (the reward for doing so) with Me?…”
We all will be questioned about what we did to help Palestine on the Day of Qiyamah.
We cannot turn our backs on them as they continue to suffer every passing day.
We must step ahead and help.
The Clock is Ticking and We Are Running OUT of Time!
Every day, innocent souls in Palestine are pushed deeper into the clutches of hunger.
And hunger is a vicious beast who waits for none.
Every second, more and more Palestinians come closer to death due to starvation.
And if we don’t act today, we risk losing hundreds of lives overnight.
Do not hesitate…
May Allah AWJ accept from us all.
